Who we are:

Gary Johns Architects was established in 2009 by Gary Johns. Gary is a qualified architect with 15 years post qualification experience, and over 20 years working in the construction industry on a variety of projects ranging from one off houses to energy efficient offices and large housing schemes.

From its formation the company has steadily grown and now boasts an enviable team of carefully selected individuals who have joined Gary to maintain and drive the quality of service that the Practice is known for.

Based in Ely, Cambridgeshire the Practice operates mainly in East Anglia, but will consider commissions anywhere if it is felt that an effective and value for money service can be provided.

Our philosophy:

Every project we are awarded provides us with an opportunity to exercise and display our ability to think creatively about a clients brief, or a set of problems. Our strengths lie in providing solutions for difficult sites where a “sausage machine” approach would not work.

We have the freedom to spend whatever time is necessary on a project, whatever their size. Above all we have fun in our work, and can invest in the people, technology, training and research which allows the practice to provide a service that exceeds our clients expectations.

This approach also provides more freedom to offer our clients, under certain circumstances, feasibility studies at risk, in an effort to get a project off the ground.
